Other avenues

That headline seems more shocking than this update actually is.  It's been a while since a solid update on the site.  I have been exploring some new ideas new techniques, and doing a lot of research into both art history and into the application of some of these new ideas.  It has been a long year or so, but there hasn't been much that I've wanted to share.  I will get around to it, but only when it's ready, I'm not the type to go halfway, I need this to be right, but I'm hoping that this will be sooner, rather than later. 

In the meantime, against my better judgement I've signed up for Twitter (@bbbriandonnelly).  I'm still not really sure that people are interested in what I have to say, but it could get interesting, and I'll probably start posting images to it and my Instagram account (bbbriandonnelly) once I get over the hurdle of documenting food, and magnetic phrases on my fridge.  Of course, I can still be found on tumblr and facebook at the same old locations.

Very excited about my first solo exhibition in Australia opening November 19th. Hope you can make it.

What is Bü?

I have been included in crywolf clothing's (www.crywolfclothing.com) new vinyl toy project called'Bü'. It was an interesting jump for me to paint on vinyl, and a great challenge for my abilities. You can see the outcome, as well as 18 other artists, at the one-night-only event at the Gladstone Hotel (2nd floor gallery) in Toronto this June 11th.

C Magazine Auction

Australia

The paperwork was recently signed for my first solo exhibition in Australia. The show will be at 19 Karen Contemporary in November of 2011. It's a long ways off, but I am still pretty excited about it, and have already started working out some new ideas.
